Take me to church – Aura, Faith and Forgiveness

Forgiveness has always been something I’ve always struggled with my entire life. When someone would do wrong by me I would carry around resentment and dislike. I never realized how much these burdens use to affect my own aura and actions. Releasing these burdens off my shoulders made me a new person .

What is Aura? “Emotional, mental, and spiritual levels form an energy field around the body “.The standard definition states;

  1. The distinctive atmosphere or quality that seems to surround and be generated by a person, thing, or place.
  2. A supposed emanation surrounding the body of a living creature and regarded as an essential part of the individual.

I see Aura in colours and temperatures, feel peoples hurt and burdens as well as happiness and joy. Not letting go of the bad had led me down the wrong path. Learning how to release unwanted aura was hard work and is still something I practice day to day through meditation and prayer.

Rediscovering my faith has directed me on the path of forgiveness and acceptance. Forgiving those who have wrong by me, but also accepting and forgiving myself for my own wrong doings. None of us are perfect human beings but we can make a conscience decision each day to forgive and promise god that we will try harder to consciously better ourselves through our day to day lives.

I make conscious choices to surround myself with good people who not only have the best interest for me but for themselves as well. If you constantly surround yourself with bad aura eventually it will transpire onto you. Don’t let it. Put yourself first, don’t carry around burdens of hate. Forgive but don’t forget.

As most may know I’m finally working toward by baptism with the Catholic Church. The community spirit and aura surrounding those who have welcomed me with open arms is nothing short of amazing and I cannot put into words how precious rediscovering my faith is. This Sundays mass was a practically great sermon by our father; a reading from the book of Jeremiah. That reminded me that no matter how bad things can get sometimes if you follow your faith the lord will guide you to where you are supposed to be. “They will fight against you but will not overcome you, for I am with you and will rescue you “Jeremiah 1:19.

Lesson 6: You’ve got to have faith , Forgive but don’t forget.
